EJ Holden Restoration
Holly The EJ Holden
Owner Gavin Wilson purchased the EJ Holden. The name for his car is a?Hollya?.
Gavin purchased the car two years ago from Wollongong, Victoria for the previous owner who done some of the restoration work such as the trimming and the motor.
The only work required was the paint work needed to be re-sprayed. The owner had kept this in mind when he bought the car. Within the first 5 minutes of being the proud owner of his 1963 EJ Holden, Gavin found when he was driving along the Hume highway were a passing motorist beeped him to give him thumbs up.
This is the type of car that takes many people back to childhood and can only make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. That is the feeling and joy you have when restoring a classic car.
With the wind in his hair and the thumbs up from motorists he headed for home. The next step was to find a panel repair shop that had a good name. Gavin had a recommendation from his son Nathan as we fully restored his sonas a Holden Commodore. Gavin said a?I looked closely over Nathanas car and liked the quality that you providea?.
Gavin did not hesitate to have the car re-sprayed at the same place. PJas Panels, Melbourne. As the car was in good condition to start with it was a relatively easy classic restoration Melbourne East.
Gavin bought the car is because it was manufactured the same year as he was born and he loved the history of the car and wanted people to see such a classic car cruise the street as it holds so much history.
When Gavin picked up the car he was very impressed at the quality of the re-spray and could not wait to hit the road.
The team at PJas Panelas hope you enjoy many years of cruising in your fully restored EJ Holden.
